East Fishkill Library In Hopewell Junction Launches Chess Club

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- The East Fishkill Community Library in Hopewell Junction recently launched Chess for Adults.

The weekly gathering is designed for those adults interested in learning and reviewing the game of chess.

This is an adult group of chess players who meet at the library to learn or refresh their chess skills, and play competitive chess games.

The weekly gathering is designed for those adults interested in learning and reviewing the game of chess. The group meets every Tuesday afternoon and is open to all levels. People can come to play for fun or competition.

Instruction will be provided if desired from within the group. Game boards and pieces are supplied. Space is limited to 12 players.
